Experience
What I’ve Worked On & The Knowledge I Have Gained
SUMMER 2022
The Ohio Light Opera Wooster, OH
I was welcomed on to the Ohio Light Opera Crew as a Scenic Painter and Spot Light Operator for the Summer of 2022. I gained incredible experience working in a Scenic Paint shop, and overall improved my Painting skills. I believe working in this department has helped me train my larger design eye for scenic and costumes, and how they both balance off each other together on stage. I look forward to returning to the college of Wooster, for the Ohio Light Opera 2023 Summer season.
MAY 2022
Script Supervisor - The Concert
In May, I had the pleasure to work on a short film with my mentor, who was also the director of the film, Elizabeth Bourgeois. I worked as the script supervisor for the film, while absorbing information about film, and how film sets run. There were many elements needed to create this piece of art, I was so happy to be apart of that process. I gained more knowledge in management through this experience, and I feel even more able and equipped to handle Stage Managing Duties. The entire Crew was wonderful to work with. I look forward to working on more films in the future.
FALL 2020 - FALL 2022
University of South Florida
I Continued to Further my theatre career by working on a multitude of projects while receiving my BA in Theatre Arts at the University of South Florida. I well rounded my theatre knowledge by working in different areas such as; Seamstress, Wardrobe Crew, Dresser, Spotlight Op, Scenic Painter, Costume Designer, Stage Management, Makeup, and so much more. USF gave me many opportunities to explore myself as an artist and designer, and has well equipped me with knowledge for a professional theatre career.
FALL 2017 - SPRING 2020
Santa Fe Community College
I began my career in theatre while receiving my AA degree at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. I fell in love with running productions and creating live art while taking my first ever theatre classes here. I gained so much respect and love for each department, and element that theatre incorporates. I learned the essential skills I needed to develop my theatrical career.
